Group Camp 2024

Camp montage

Cubs and Scouts from the group enjoyed an action packed weekend at our last camp of 2024 at Brockmead campsite.

Cubs enjoyed zip lining and grass sledging (looks like the Leaders also enjoyed that). Meanwhile, the Scouts were busy pioneering, building frames from poles to support a rope bridge which was thoroughly tested afterwards.

There was of course a camp fire and the Scouts enjoyed cooking for themselves. They even made bread in mud ovens.

Both the Cubs and Scouts also had a go at orienteering, archery and rifle shooting. The weather was very good to us and the tents returned dry and ready to be packed away till next year.

If this all sounds like fun and you fancy getting involved, we're looking for volunteers to help organise and run activities, share their skills, assist leaders or become leaders themselves. Please visit the Volunteer page to find out more and let us know how you would like to help.
